Ying Chiun examines the “Air Quotes” gesture, the marking of a type of phrase that usually contains multiple meanings or sexual innuendo. Ying Chiun shows the audience how she cooks and eats the quote that she heard. During this process, a series of sensuous acts leads the viewers to the discovery of linguistic variations. By digesting the words within her body, would she truly get the meaning of the air quotes?
